[Anyone who walks by or happens to be watching the network feed will see a frustrated kid siting on the grass and flipping through an old, battered journal.]

There isn't anything in this book about 'Pokémon'! Or how a sheep can produce electricity! That mom lady must have been a shape-shifter who didn't look anything like my mom... and that professor makes McGucket look sane...

[The gear moves towards the boy before it's tossed to the ground. Unfortunately, it lands face down, obscuring whatever threw it and the boy.]

So they are a mafia!

I suppose so. Do mafias usually hijack trains and steal pet cats from young children?

Yes! And much worse! Like take out other mafia's that get in their way. And they bribe the cops to look the other way when they commit crimes.

...While that last part would explain so much about the local form of law enforcement, as far as I know Team Rocket is not guilty of that particular crime.

But what if they're so good at it that no one's noticed?

I suppose they must be good at something, but if that's their talent I assure you it's not helped them much. Most trainers and breeders are quite willing to intervene during attacks, when the Jennies are too slow to act.

The officers. An alarming number of them are identical and bear the name Jenny. Many of the nurses are also extremely alike.
