Journal Entry # 2 [Video]
[Dipper pops up on the network, looking unhappy and exhausted. And covered in dirt, leaves, and Meowstic fur.]
I decided to explore Ilex Forest due to the stories of a legendary Pokémon named Celebi. After a week of getting lost in these dense trees, I found the shrine. There's nothing special about it.
[Just going to pan around and show just how lost he is in these woods.]
I've found Pokémon, weird mushrooms, and my cat evolved. I've caught a balloon, a thing with a leaf on its head, and an owl. My PokéDex tells me those are a Drifloon, Chikorita, and a Hoothoot. There's other noteworthy Pokémon in this place, but no Celebi.
[Said cat pops up on the screen, and a male Meowstic waves at everyone.]
It's week three in this forest. Or so the calendar tells me. I may die in this forest unless I find a way out.
[The broadcast cuts out. Seems Dipper may have been trying to make something like an actual journal entry and in his exhaustion has posted to the network instead. Please save him. Or just give him directions out of there.]

The feed cut itself off without another word after the request. Oy vey. It should have been a non-verbal warning for the boy to NOT MOVE until he was picked up. Annnd it would take a while. Stan had to close up, pay the stupid Inn fee, and hope to God that his Xatu knew where the heck it was going. It wasn't that terrible. He had to get to Goldenrod in the first place and was just severely procrastinating.
Give it some time and Dipper will find a huge totem pole bird swooping over the trees carrying his brick wall of a Grunkle on its back. It lands and Stan climbs down, IMMEDIATELY crossing his arms. ]
You're lucky I had a bird's-eye view of the place or I would'a gotten lost here too. [ What does he do now? Hug him? IS THAT OKAY?
... Okay, he holds his arms out. ]
Gimme a hug or something, kid.

Seeing the bird come drop from the sky with his grunkle gives Dipper a freaking out moment because WOW THAT IS A WEIRD AND SCARY LOOKING BIRD!!!]
W-What is that thing?!
[And why does it look like the totem pole from Gravity Falls? SORRY TOO FREAKED OUT FOR A HUG RIGHT NOW STAN]

That bird just kind of stands there, staring. Its painted on-looking eyes flick downward to peer at the boy. And he just... Stares. He can see your time of death, Dipper. HE CAN SEE IT. ]
His name's Hitchcock. He's my delivery bird. He's been flyin' the eggs I'm selling to different cities so I don't gotta do it myself. I've got two other ones I'm training to do the same thing. Pretty neat, right?
[ It's pretty clear that Dipper is TERRIFIED of Mister Hitchcock here. ]

He knows Fly because I got a hold of the HM for it. He's got psychic powers too. Hitchcock's the full package. [ Stan pats the bird's shoulder and he... Just doesn't move. ] Seriously, he's a bird. Pokémon look like all kinds of weird stuff.
I have one that looks like one of those Egyptian coffins but with a bunch of arms. He's in the computer though. Don't have him on me.
