Journal Entry # 2 [Video]

[Dipper pops up on the network, looking unhappy and exhausted. And covered in dirt, leaves, and Meowstic fur.]

I decided to explore Ilex Forest due to the stories of a legendary Pokémon named Celebi. After a week of getting lost in these dense trees, I found the shrine. There's nothing special about it.

[Just going to pan around and show just how lost he is in these woods.]

I've found Pokémon, weird mushrooms, and my cat evolved. I've caught a balloon, a thing with a leaf on its head, and an owl. My PokéDex tells me those are a Drifloon, Chikorita, and a Hoothoot. There's other noteworthy Pokémon in this place, but no Celebi.

[Said cat pops up on the screen, and a male Meowstic waves at everyone.]

It's week three in this forest. Or so the calendar tells me. I may die in this forest unless I find a way out.

[The broadcast cuts out. Seems Dipper may have been trying to make something like an actual journal entry and in his exhaustion has posted to the network instead. Please save him. Or just give him directions out of there.]

[Don't ruin his fun. This is his way of coping with no Mabel around.]

There are tons more mysteries you can stick your nose in over here. I don't wanna hear any more complaints.

But if I go to Ghost Town and Mabel shows up, I can't meet up with her so far away!

B-But... what if she wants to travel? Ever thought about that? She can't do that if we're stuck in Ghost City.

These aren't ghosts. Celebi is a Pokémon, and no one knows how to lure it out.

What, are you a ghost or a spirit? That's not the same as a Pokémon. Celebi isn't a ghost type.

And it doesn't guard the just the shrine. It guards the entire forest. What if it doesn't even visit its own shrine?

We ain't stuck anyway. I can leave whenever I want! I got a lotta time between egg clutches. We can go wherever. Point is, I'm not leaving you to wander around a maze forest. End of story.

I want to make more friends too, but, I need to be careful! I've been reading about these gym challenges, and different types! I don't want to unnecessarily hurt my potential friends!

I guess you can get supplies too. We can either backtrack to Azalea from there or go to Ecruteak. The latter is probably way more up your alley to begin with. Sound like a deal?

They just sort of.... appear when they feel like it.
